Oral diagnostics and dental radiology. The word means intra-oral diagnosis. It is the first clinic that is visited before starting dental treatment. The examination is performed by the doctor and panoramic X-rays are taken that show the structure of the teeth and jaw. After this stage, a treatment plan is created. However, it is not just rotten teeth, impacted teeth or receding gum problems that are seen in the mouth. In addition, diseases may be seen in the soft tissues of the cheek, palate and jaw bones. In the oral diagnostic and radiology clinics, chronic diseases such as diabetes and Behcet’s diseases, which are located in another part of the body but show symptoms in the oral tissues, and diseases of the intraoral tissues such as thrush, are also diagnosed and treated.
